Emeregency crews were called to the scene shortly before 9pm, Wednesday night, as crews arrived, additional units were called to the scene and a LifeFlight Helicopter reportedly landed near the scene and airevac'd one patient to a local hospital.
Witnesses on the scene had reported that a motorhome had crossed into the center divider from the Northbound lanes of Interstate 5 onto the Northbound coming head on with a southbound vehicle. A child inside the southbound vehicle was reported killed in the crash and police believe a bicyclist on the shoulders of the southbound lanes was killed as well. OSP has not released the name of the those killed pending notification of next of kin. Investigators say the debris field at the scene was so messy, they had a hard time trying to piece together how the accident happened during the early stages of the incident.
