 EUGENE, OR (OFP) - The Eugene Police Department is taking the latest string of Carjackings involving two armed suspects that involve kidnapping and robbery of women who drive alone. EPD says in each case a women driver would be carjacked and kidnappend and forced to drive to a local ATM and having the suspects withdrawl money from a local ATM.
In each case both suspects have claimed to be armed and bank security cameras have caught the suspect in the act of withdrawing money from their victims bank accounts with security footage on hand, police hope to have the suspects in custody. Detectives are concerned that future incidents involving these suspect could turn to the worst escalating to the possible use of force by the suspects, police said. Related story & Video |
