SISTERS, OR (OFP) - The first lightning caused fires started firefighters off to an early fire season late Friday with over 500 plus reported lightning strikes reported across the High Plains Desert area with the largest fire being at 100 acres.
The Geneva 6 fire was reported shortly before 3:30pm, Friday as a string of dry lightning storms passed through eastern Oregon. No homes have been damaged or destroyed. |
